This popular tourist hub is home to hundreds of condos, hotels and villas all of which are conveniently located near the Pacific Ocean. Moreover, the presence of Shelter Cove means that you will be able to see two very popular man made islands, Los Angeles islands and San Miguel Island. 2. Yosemite Fall – This legendary fall is one of the many wonders of Yosemite National Park. The amazing thing about Yosemite Fall is that you can hike to the top of Mount Bragg and catch breathtaking views of this man-made forest. There are actually many different trails for you to choose from as there are different levels to each of the falls. However, the best time to hike Yosemite Fall is from May through October as this is when it is at its wet season. On your California road trip, you should take the following itineraries: morning or afternoon drive, across Bragg Creek valley, traverse the valley towards the west rim of Yosemite Fall, park entrance, scramble up to the top of Yosemite Fall, and a final trek back to the parking area.
